Goal of the group:

To provide emotional, social support services to positive heterosexual adults in a secure, safe, and confidential environment; to help them empower themselves to lead more productive and fulfilling lives.

"This group, it’s a live group; it’s also a funny group. There are times of sadness.

But even if you are sad when you enter the door your heart will be full of laughter when you leave.

“This group” it’s a happy group. I see the happiness in their eyes.

I feel their happiness in their smile. Their smile lights up the room.

”This Group”, it’s not a hard group. There is not much more to say about this group… So, I’ll just say, I like this group.

Support Group Information

“Positive Relationships” offer weekly emotional and social support group in New York City for HIV positive heterosexual adults.

Importance/need of the support group:

The significance of this support group becomes necessary due to numerous requests of Positive Relationships members to have a place to meet with other peers in a secures, safe and confidential environment to address issues affecting their emotional and personal lives.

Goal of the group:

To provide emotional and social support services to HIV positive heterosexual adults in a secure, safe, and confidential environment; to help them empower themselves to lead more productive and fulfilling lives.

Location: 384 Grand Street # 4 C (Between Suffolk and Norfolk Sts.)

Date: Every Thursday

Time: 6:45 PM- 8:30 PM

Summer Activities:

Please be informed that we will be meeting OUTDOORS (different locations throughout NYC) to conduct our weekly Thursday Support Group; during the summer time. Please make sure you check www.positiverelationships.org regularly to view group weekly meeting places.
