Roosevelt Island is that oft-overlooked sliver of land in the East River of New York City, lying between the island of Manhattan to its west and the borough of Queens on Long Island to its east. The island has undergone many incarnations; from Native Settlement, to colonial farmland, to social dumping ground, to residential haven.
Today, Roosevelt Island is home to residents who enjoy its parks, peaceful stroll along the calming water side, and historic landmarks.
Please call Altagracia to let me know what you will be bringing to share.
